About The Role


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Parks and Open Spaces Team. In this role, you’ll be primarily working on supporting the contract commissioning manager and project managers. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in understanding projects, revenue, contracts, and commissioning work. You will play am active role by providing expert support, advice and response to internal and external customers, associations, organisations, and other enquiries. Assist the commissioning manager to implement the Parks and Open Spaces supplier performance strategies across the service. Ensure all relevant performance data is recorded in management for effective and efficient contract management, ensuring effective accurate and up to date administration of existing contracts.


About The Team You’ll Be Working In


Hounslow Council’s Parks and Open Spaces Team manage the boroughs Parks, Playgrounds, Allotments, Cemeteries, Trees, and Countryside sites. We work with funders, stakeholders, and residents to develop innovative projects to improve the quality and variety of the borough’s green spaces portfolio. We look for opportunities to encourage a diverse and thriving biodiversity whilst increasing access opportunities for our residents to interact with nature. where possible we look to nature-based solutions to manage the effects of climate change and to mitigate pollution.


We work with our delivery partner Lampton Greenspace to manage and monitor ground maintenance of sites and respond to resident and other enquiries. We proactively share information with residents through our website, parks hub and onsite noticeboards.


About You

• Demonstrable experience of operational delivery of contract management.


• Experience in, or knowledge of, a commercial or public administration environment.
