The Central Park Conservancy’s work never stops. They are rebuilding the facility formerly known as Lasker Rink and Pool to better integrate into the landscape, offer new and enhanced outdoor activities, and increase access for communities around the north end of Central Park. Their website offers an incredible insight to the work they continue to do in Olmsted’s most famous park, and as we know, was inspired by none other than Birkenhead Park.
