Call for Evidence Urban green spaces

Surprise surprise, no one seems to know where this has come from, but it appears there is a House of Lords Public Inquiry into Green Spaces – follow the link below to get more details. We will of course respond to this, but what is surprising is that no one seemed to be aware it was due. It has come totally out of the blue and to be honest, following up from the 2017 Parliamentary Public Inquiry into parks that resulted in nothing, it begs the question why now and why again when they already have the evidence. We will dig out our old response, change the date, add the odd word and phrases saying – its getting worse. We would encourage colleagues and organisations to respond though. There will of course be a General Election in 2024 and with the nature of politics these days, it would be a brave person to determine what the outcome of it would be.
