Ian Baggott – a thank you from the PMA

At our last board meeting, one of our founder members and board members, Ian Baggott, Director of Community First Partnership decided to step down from the Parks Management Association. Ian said, ‘it has been a pleasure to be part of it and to keep in touch with all over recent years… I still strongly believe how important our parks are and how fundamental the role of skilled park managers is and can only admire those who stay dedicated to the cause’. Chairperson Paul Rabbitts added, ‘I have known Ian for so many years, I dare not count how many, and first met him when he was a Local Involvement Officer at Walsall Council and was in awe of his achievements even then. Ian’s commitment to the PMA has been outstanding, volunteering his time as well as that of his company, Community First Partnership. Thanks Ian, we will miss your positivity, wit and knowledge.’.
